Planning a hen party on a budget

Hen party on a budget

By Niamh Hanlon

Planning a wedding can be quite pricy, so it is always a great idea to pinch a penny where possible. Here we have compiled a number of ideas that will ensure you have a great night with your friends without breaking your bank.

Staying local

Thinking of going out for a meal or drinks for you hen? Stay local and save the cost of a hotel. If you do wish to venture off why not stay in a low budget hotel or hostel. Make it exciting by doing something beforehand like having drinks or by making a day out of it and go bowling or something you can all do together.  Christmas Aesthetic - Cocktail cheers!

Party time

Why not throw a party by having a barbeque with your closest friends. Make the night exciting. You can be sure to have a ball if you play some party games such as card games or drinking games. Organise teams to make it a little more interesting. More intimate settings like this may not only save you money but they are just as enjoyable as splashing loads on a fancy hotel or holiday. Make it feel like you abroad and throw a themed party. Nothing ensures a night full of laughs like a good fancy dress party, gets or gals or pals to dress up.

Slumber Party

Pamper time ladies! Let your inner teen out and have a sleepover with your closet friends. Paint one another’s nails or hair. Do facemasks and chill with some wine or eat on junk food. Order your favourite take-out food and watch movies. This is a fab idea to get all your girls together before your big day and it will not cost you an arm and a leg.  Primark pyjamas

Boys will be boys

The stags can budget too, instead of flying off on holiday try doing a fun day activity like paint balling or head off go karting for the day. Try something different and take the lads on a quad biking day out. 20 Hilarious and Creative Groomsmen Photo Ideas
